Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by The Space To Breathe Collective ("the Collective"). By attending classes, workshops, or events, you ("the Member") agree to comply with these terms.

2. Membership and Class Bookings

  • Age Restrictions: Participants must be 16 years or older to attend public classes, workshops, and programmes. However, individuals under 16 are welcome to attend our Beginners Yoga class at 9 am on Sundays, provided they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Unlimited Monthly Membership: For £60 per month, members enjoy unlimited access to all regular yoga classes. This membership operates on a monthly rolling basis, with fees auto-renewing each month on the original purchase date. Members can cancel their membership at any time by providing written notice via email or through their online account before their next payment is due. Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable but may be paused in extenuating circumstances at the Collective's discretion.

  • Drop-In Classes: Members may attend single sessions on a drop-in basis. Each session must be booked online in advance at www.spacetobreathecollective.co.uk; no payments are accepted at the studio.

    • Pricing:

      • Community Days (Wednesdays and Fridays): £5 per class

      • Other Days: £10 per class

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Class Cancellations: All class bookings are non-refundable. However, members may reschedule their booking if they do so at least 3 hours before the class start time. To reschedule, click the "Reschedule" button at the bottom of your original booking confirmation email. Cancellations made within 3 hours of the class start time are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Workshops and Events: All bookings for workshops and events are non-refundable. However, bookings may be transferred to another individual with at least 24 hours' notice and applicable administration fees.

4. Health and Safety

  • Medical Conditions: Members should consult a healthcare professional before participating in classes, especially if they have existing medical conditions. It's the Member's responsibility to inform the teacher of any health issues that may affect their practice.

  • Personal Responsibility: While yoga offers numerous benefits, it can be physically demanding. Members participate at their own risk, and the Collective is not liable for any injuries sustained during sessions.

5. Personal Belongings

Members are responsible for their personal belongings. The Collective does not accept liability for any loss or damage to items brought onto the premises.

6. Code of Conduct and Safer Spaces

  • Commitment to Inclusivity: We are dedicated to fostering an environment that is welcoming and respectful to all individuals, regardless of age, physical ability, race, gender, creed, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation.

  • Prohibited Conduct: Any form of discrimination, harassment, or behavior that undermines the safety and comfort of others is strictly prohibited.

  • Right to Deny Access: The Collective reserves the right to deny access to any individual whose behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the harmonious environment we strive to maintain.

  • Termination of Membership: We may terminate your account or membership at any time, without warning, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that compromises the safety or well-being of others. In such cases, you will not be entitled to a refund of any fees or for any unused portion of any membership.

By participating in our classes and events, you agree to uphold our Safer Spaces Statement, contributing to a positive and safe experience for all members of our community.

7. Changes to Terms and Conditions

The Collective reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions as necessary. Any changes will be communicated via the Collective's website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
